Violin Lessons in Boston

With vast experience performing and teaching, Morgan is able to teach a number of styles and cater his teaching style to the wants and needs of each individual student. Not only is Morgan a classically trained instrumentalist, he also has experience and training in folk styles from Americana and Bluegrass to Tango and Gypsy. He has performed with the Huntington Theatre Company of Boston as well as the Traverse and Battle Creek Symphony Orchestras. He has upcoming performances at the Boston Center for the Arts as well as engagements with his folk duo.
Morgan received his Bachelors Degree from Western Michigan University with a double degree in Violin Performance and Composition. He studied further at Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Schlern International Music Festival in Vols am Schlern, Italy.
Morgan is currently seeking violin students of all ages and all levels. He is happy to teach students from all walks of life who wish to enjoy the art of music making. Whether it be classical, jazz, folk, or tango, Morgan tries to maintain a technical discipline while also making the process of learning fun.
He currently teaches privately at his home, at the Suzuki Institute of Boston and at Onset School of Music in Wakefield. He is also willing to travel to students homes for lessons.
